The 2013 Ultimate Dodgeball Championship

The 2013 Ultimate Dodgeball Championship is upon us! Played across 35 Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Parks, $50,000 in total cash prizes will be on the line ($20,000 to the overall winner), and the Championship Tournament in Las Vegas will be professionally filmed and later broadcast across the Fox Sports Network.

What is Ultimate Dodgeball? It's all the action and excitement of regular dodgeball, but played atop the patented, all-trampoline, walled playing courts of Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park. Dip, Dodge, Duck, Dive - and FLY, literally!

The Sky Zone Indoor Park playing courts are protected by United States Patent No. 5,624,122. The Ultimate Dodgeball Championship Local & Championship Tournaments are subject to local law and void where prohibited.

Ultimate Dodgeball Championship Format

The Ultimate Dodgeball Championship is an enormous event, with over 30 Local Qualifiers held across the U.S. and Canada, and a Championship Tournament in Las Vegas for the Final 8 teams. Please read the official Tournament Rules* and the official Tournament Format* for full details (click above). In the meantime, here's a brief summary:

Ages: 16+

Format: 5 vs. 5 (up to 8 on a roster)

Cost per Team: $50 (plus tax where applicable)

Local Qualifier Dates: Held between 08/01/13 - 08/04/13

Championship Tournament Dates: 09/21/13 - 09/22/13

The big question ... How does your team make it to the Championship Tournament in Las Vegas?

1) Win an eligible Ultimate Dodgeball Championship Local Qualifier (see complete list of locations below).

2) Be among the top 7 Local Qualifier winners based on statistical ranking (all Local Qualifier winners will be ranked by their winning %; tie breakers of a) average game time for wins and b) average players left on team for wins will be used if needed; see official Tournament Format document for details).

3) Be an Ultimate Dodgeball Championship Local Qualifier winner that did not rank in the top 7 based on stats, but have the most Facebook Votes between (Aug. 5th and Aug. 12th; see official Tournament Format document for details).

Championship Tournament

Following the Ultimate Dodgeball Championship Local Qualifiers, a Championship Tournament will be held in Las Vegas for the Final 8 teams (see official format document to see what it takes to become a Final 8 team):

September 21st:
1:00 pm - Team registration
3:30 pm - Team check in
4:00 pm - Round robin play
7:30 pm - Team reception & bracket announcement

September 22nd:
8:30 am - Team check in
9:00 am - Single elimination Championship Bracket play
1:00 pm (approximate) - Championship presentation

TV Coverage:

Ultimate Dodgeball 'YoungStars'

The Ultimate Dodgeball Championship is specific to ages 16+, but we have something special for 'the next generation' as well! It's the Ultimate Dodgeball YoungStars event, for ages 11-15, complete with:

An Ultimate Dodgeball instructional clinic.
An Ultimate Dodgeball skills competition.
An Ultimate Dodgeball mini tournament.
