Events Host

Events Host

Who doesn’t love a party? Your job is to host parties/events. You must be outgoing and be great with kids of all ages. Our Event Host will work with kids and adults to create a fun and engaging experience for event guests through courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while upholding Sky Zone safety regulations. During a typical event, for example, the Host would greet / check-in party guests and verify waiver compliance, set up / clean up the party room promptly, serve food and beverages, etc. The Event Host will also be expected to assist with cleaning the facility’s common areas as needed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • A love for working with children
  • Ability to project voice
  • Ability to enforce rules
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems

Responsibilities

  • Help with guest check-in/ waiver verification
  • Advocate Guest satisfaction/WoW!
  • Advocate risk management (Guest Rules communication)
  • Serve food and drinks
  • Sing happy birthday, and cut cake
  • Make every birthday child feel special
  • Perform general maintenance/custodial duties as requested
  • Set up/ and reset of party rooms after each event
  • Other duties as assigned

Event Assistant

Who does not LOVE a party? You get paid to throw parties/events. You must SMILE and be great with kids of all ages.

The Event Assistant will help create a fun and engaging experience for the event guests through courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while upholding Sky Zone safety regulations. Qualifications:Ability to provide excellent customer serviceMust be able to interact and communicate well with children, parents and staff membersAbility to project voice and be heard in a loud environmentAbility to enforce rulesAbility to troubleshoot and work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform all functions of event staff

Answer phone inquiries about eventsBook all types of reservations in the systemEnsure all pre-arrival booking procedures are adhered toAssist in event salesHandle all paperworkMake sure invitations and waivers are taken care ofAssist with management of the inventory of event suppliesGreet and check-in event guestsEscort event participants from the party room to the courtMake sure party rooms and staff are running on scheduleOrganize and file event folders

COURT MONITOR

Position Overview

The Court Monitor has one of the most important jobs at Sky Zone. The primary duty of the Court Monitor is to enforce the Sky Zone safety rules while simultaneously delivering WOW! Guest experiences. Court Monitors are responsible for guarding the safety of anyone who is using the Sky Zone courts. The importance of safety cannot be stressed enough. It is vital to the success of Sky Zone that Court Monitors are very aware of their surroundings and have their eyes on their designated sections of the courts at all times.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver WoW Guest experiences
  • Maintain a constant line of sight with Guests on courts
  • Act immediately and appropriately to insure the safety of Guests in the event of an emergency
  • Communicate court rules to Guests
  • Maintain positive relations and rapport with Guests
  • Assist in implementing emergency procedures
  • Assist with court inspections
  • Perform various maintenance duties as directed
  • Help maintain a clean and safe park

SALES ASSOCIATE

The Sales Associate is often the first person to greet Guests who come to Sky Zone, so it is very important that Sales Associates must deliver WoW Guest experiences whether at the counter or on the phone. In addition, the Sales Associate is expected to know all relevant “real time” information regarding Sky Zone and have the ability to effectively explain and sell it to the Guest. This type of information includes (but is not limited to):

  • Membership Tiers and program elements
  • Park hours of operation
  • Price for all services and products, promotions and programs
  • Details of our water policy
  • Cost and information about SkySocks
  • “Real time” court availability information

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver WoW Guest Experiences
  • Great Guests
  • Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Provide information about Sky Zone to Guests
  • Complete sales transitions
  • Be a “Membership Ambassador”
  • Effectively upsell the Guest to promos/promotions
  • Ensure compliance with a membership sales Terms and Conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

Camp Leader

Job Requirements:

You must be outgoing and be great with kids of all ages. You will work with kids and adults to create a fun and engaging experience for campers through courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while upholding Sky Zone safety regulations. During a typical event, for example, you would greet / check-in camp guests and verify waiver compliance, set up / clean up the camp room promptly, serve food and beverages, etc. The Camp Leaders will also be expected to assist with cleaning the facility’s common areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • A love for working with children
  • Ability to project voice
  • Ability to enforce rules
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems

Responsibilities:

  • Help with guest check-in/ waiver verification

  • Follow camp instructions
  • Participate in camp games
  • Encourage camper participation
  • Supervising kids ages 5-13 with minimal assistance
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be age 18 or over
  • Experience supervising children
  • Good judgement and strong morals
  • Ability to act in stressful situations
  • Multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work at least 25-40 hours a week
  • First-Aid certification preferred (not required)
  • Available during July & August 2023
