Cashier

Our cashier will provide information, complete sales transactions, and answer phones while always maintaining the highest level of customer service. You are the first person our guests will meet: therefore your primary goal is to start them off with a WOW experience while completing their sales transaction and introducing them to our park.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
  • Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle money

Court Monitor

Our Court Monitors will work directly with guests to provide courteous, friendly, and professional assistance / education while enforcing Sky Zone safety regulations. You are the primary person responsible for the safety of everyone at Sky Zone and ensuring it is cleaned and well maintained. Maturity and a SMILE is a MUST! 

  • Qualifications:Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Prior work experience is required
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Availability nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
  • Ability to inform rules

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the facility: act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guest. Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency.
  • Pay complete attention to the court at all times and be very interactive with the jumpers. Never turn back to the court.
  • Keep participants under control so as to not endanger others. Maintain safety of ALL guests.
  • Communicate court rules to all participants.
  • Maintain positive relations and rapport with guest, but firm and command respect.
  • Assist with court inspections.
  • Perform various maintenance duties as directed. Help maintain a clean and safe facility.
  • Attend regular scheduled staff meetings and in service training.
  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.

Event Host

Who does not LOVE a party? You get paid to throw parties / events. You must SMILE and be great with kids of all ages. Our Event Host will work with kids and adults to create a fun and engaging experience for event guests through courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while upholding Sky Zone safety regulations. During a typical event, for example, the Host would greet / check in party guest and verify waiver compliance, set up / clean up party room promptly, serve food and beverages, etc. The Event Host will also be expected to assist with cleaning the facility common areas as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Must be able to interact and communicate well with children, parents, and staff members
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
  • Ability to enforce rules
  • Ability to handle large groups of children
  • Ability to engage in customers (all ages) in conversations

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Maintain positive relations and rapport with guests
  • Engage customers (all ages) in conversation
  • Create a fun environment
  • Troubleshoot; appease unhappy customers (all ages) when situation rises
  • Responsible for set up and clean-up of party
  • Greet the party and escort them from the court to the party room
  • Prepare / serve refreshments
  • Create a party gift list of presents
  • Find ways to ensure Sky Zone is the premier event host in St Louis
  • Custodial duties as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Event Assistant

Event Assistant Who does not LOVE a party? You get paid to throw parties / events. You must SMILE and be great with kids of all ages. The Event Assistant will help create a fun and engaging experience for the event guests through courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while upholding Sky Zone safety regulations.

  • Must be able to interact and communicate well with children, parents and staff members
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
  • Ability to enforce rules
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform all functions of event staff
  • Answer phone inquiries about events
  • Book all types of reservations in system
  • Ensure all pre-arrival booking procedures are adhered to
  • Assist in event sales
  • Handle all paperwork
  • Make sure invitations and waivers are taken care of
  • Assist with management of inventory of event supplies
  • Greet and check in event guests
  • Escort event participants from the party room to the court
  • Make sure party rooms and staff are running on schedule
  • Organize and file event folders

Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager at Sky Zone, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, as well as work a majority of the manager-on-duty shifts. You must be a leader who is passionate about providing exceptional guest service. The Operations Manager will hire, train, schedule, and oversee all non-event staff members under the direction of the General Manager. Above all, we are seeking candidates who are flexible, friendly, hardworking and also enjoy interacting with both children and adults. Your past experience should demonstrate your organizational skills, drive and initiative.
This full time position has future internal growth potential.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Experience: Two years of management experience in a related field
  • Previous management experience with young, part time staff
  • Outgoing, energetic and friendly personality
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills are a must
  • Eagerness to grow in the organization
  • Experience with employee scheduling and cash handling
  • Pervious experience with children’s birthday parties
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Above all this position requires a “fun meets fitness” spirit that is a dedicated team player as well.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Opening and closing the facility as the primary Manager on Duty
  • Maintaining Sky Zone policies and procedures in all aspects of the business
  • Ordering and managing inventory, suggest new products and cost saving ideas
  • Developing a system for; ordering, maintaining proper stock levels, inventory tracking, merchandise, beverages and food
  • Hiring, training, and scheduling and supervising of court monitors, cashiers, concessions, and safety asurance staff
  • Working with the Management Team to promote and execute special events
  • Performing the functions of team members when necessary
  • Managing and developing the Sky Fitness Program, including Instructor training and scheduling
  • Ensuring the safety, cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility
  • Enforcing and ensure ALL safety roles and waiver policy and procedures
  • Ensuring all court inspections are completed and submitted as required
  • Assisting with general facility, court maintenance and repair.
  • As the eyes and ears of the facility, addressing and anticipating all needs and situations.
  • Discuss solutions with owner and General Manager
  • Direct responsibility to ensure every guest and associate wears a smile
  • Other management duties as assigned

Assistant Manager

The assistant manager will work directly with guests, providing courteous friendly, and professional assistance while enforcing sky zone safety regulations. He/she will also help train court monitors and will act as the first line supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Two years of management experience in a related field
  • Previous management experience with young, part time staff
  • Outgoing, energetic and friendly personality
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills are a must
  • Willing to grow in a high-growth organization
  • Experience with employee scheduling and cash handling
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Maintaining sky zone policies and procedures in all aspects of the business
  • Performing the functions of team members when necessary
