Sky Zone Cedar Rapids has part-time opportunities inside our giant indoor trampoline park (aka a huge palace of trampoline FUN for all ages, shapes and abilities). Party Pro

Who does not LOVE a party? You get paid to throw parties / events. You must SMILE and be great with kids of all ages. Our Event Host will work with kids and adults to create a fun and engaging experience for event guests through courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while upholding Sky Zone safety regulations. During a typical event, for example, the Host would greet / check in party guest and verify waiver compliance, set up / clean up party room promptly, serve food and beverages, etc. The Event Host will also be expected to assist with cleaning the facility common areas as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Must be able to interact and communicate well with children, parents, and staff members
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
  • Ability to enforce rules
  • Ability to handle large groups of children
  • Ability to engage in customers (all ages) in conversations

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Maintain positive relations and rapport with guests
  • Engage customers (all ages) in conversation
  • Create a fun environment
  • Troubleshoot; appease unhappy customers (all ages) when situation rises
  • Responsible for set up and clean-up of party
  • Greet the party and escort them from the court to the party room
  • Prepare / serve refreshments
  • Create a party gift list of presents
  • Find ways to ensure Sky Zone is the premier event host in St Louis
  • Custodial duties as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Court Monitor

Our Court Monitors will work directly with guests to provide courteous, friendly, and professional assistance / education while enforcing Sky Zone safety regulations. You are the primary person responsible for the safety of everyone at Sky Zone and ensuring it is cleaned and well maintained. Maturity and a SMILE is a MUST! 

  • Qualifications: Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Prior work experience is required
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Availability nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
  • Ability to inform rules

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the facility: act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guest. Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency.
  • Pay complete attention to the court at all times and be very interactive with the jumpers. Never turn back to the court.
  • Keep participants under control so as to not endanger others. Maintain safety of ALL guests.
  • Communicate court rules to all participants.
  • Maintain positive relations and rapport with guest, but firm and command respect.
  • Assist with court inspections.
  • Perform various maintenance duties as directed. Help maintain a clean and safe facility.
  • Attend regular scheduled staff meetings and in service training.
  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
