Position Profile

The Events and Community Manager is the community outreach and sales planning lead. This manager is responsible for delivering the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER, as well as creating strategic relationships in the community. A successful manager will leverage the Sky Zone brand to drive revenue through the packages, programs and promotions available to our guests. Under the direction of the General Manager, they are tasked with the new business generation, coordinating monthly and annual sales calendars, coordinating community and mobile activations and supervising the outside sales and street teams to maximize brand exposure and build the business.
In addition, this position serves to integrate the Sky Zone brand and raise awareness about the organization in the community. Understanding the local market is a key element in driving strategic partnerships with local school groups, corporations, fundraising organizations, camp groups, and guests with special needs.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Leader for service and guest satisfaction for weekend Birthday parties
  • Consistently demonstrate Sky Zone’s core values (Make it Fun, Keep it Safe, Be Healthy, Do Good and Deliver WoW) for Team Members and Guests
  • Create action plans to grow the business through relationships in the community and community outreach initiatives
  • Understand the local market and successfully integrate the Sky Zone brand to drive revenue
  • Deliver on the park’s monthly sales and event goals
  • Lead sales and street teams to find leads and generate energy around the Sky Zone brand in the community
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Organize all leads in CRM software and update regularly
  • Provide the team with a welcoming and mutually supportive work environment
  • Resolve guest service issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Ensure Street Team Members are knowledgeable about all products, programs and promotions offered
  • Advocate for guest safety and satisfaction
  • Lead all Fundraising and Donation Efforts
  • Plan and Execute Weekly Sales and Events Meetings
  • Participate as a member of the management team to brainstorm, plan and implement innovative ways to grow and improve business
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of event sales and/or community outreach experience required
  • Proven ability to create and maintain relationships in the community with local schools, business and other organizations
  • Previous experience in a guest-facing environment
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment
  • Previous management experience with new-to-the-workforce, part-time staff
  • Ability to work nights and weekends

Job Description 
We are currently searching for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead the team at Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Cerritos CA. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join the management team at our Sky Zone. Our Operations Managers will work directly with customers and Team Members to provide courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while enforcing Sky Zone safety regulations.

Responsibilities
· Plan, monitor and appraise job results
· Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment

· Enforce quality and customer service standards
· Communicate job expectations
· Analyze and resolve quality/customer service problems
· Assist in the oversight of event bookings and the management of our in-house event team

Inventory Management:
• Keep our concession area and merchandise cases stocked with offerings that support our culture and please our guests.
• Order all supplies and equipment while managing a monthly expense template and meeting the associated line items of our budget.
• Manage the monthly inventory count and address loss issues and slow turns.

Operations Management:
• Oversee daily operations of the facility while acting as the Manager on Duty.
• Be the eyes and ears on the floor to ensure the ultimate guest experience by coaching team members and interacting with guests.
• Take primary responsibility for the implementation of Sky Zone standard operating procedures and associated reporting.
Education
· Some post-secondary school education
· High School Diploma (or equivalent)
