Sky Zone Chesterfield has part-time opportunities inside our giant indoor trampoline park (aka a huge palace of trampoline FUN for all ages, shapes and abilities). Operations Manager

The Operations Manager at Sky Zone is an important leader on the park management team. In coordination with other members of the management team, this position is responsible for ensuring all elements of park safety, Team Member training, Guest Experience, and logistics are executed to standard and team communication is coordinated and effective. The Operations Manager’s ability to make sound decisions and tackle Guest Experience challenges is a key element to Sky Zone’s success.

This position manages the day-to-day operations of the park, including maintenance, safety,
administrative, and logistical functions. Serving as the Manager on Duty (MOD) is also a primary
responsibility of the Operations Manager. There are four additional areas of focus for the
Operations Manager(s). The first is Keeping It Safe through successful management of the courts
and maintenance team who are responsible for facility and court maintenance and repair. This
also means maintaining all Sky Zone Safety and Risk Management standards. The second area
of focus is Team Member Training and Communication, ensuring the team is well-trained, new
Team Members are on-boarded effectively, and are knowledgeable about park offerings and
programs. Events Logistics is the third focus and includes the coordination of the Events Team
to Deliver WoW to birthday party and event groups. The final focus is on the administrative needs
in the park: scheduling, inventory management, payroll, IT support, survey management, etc.

Responsibilities
• Consistently demonstrate Sky Zone’s core values (Make it Fun, Keep it Safe, Be Healthy,
Do Good and Deliver WoW) for Team Members and Guests. Motivate the team and drive
Sky Zone culture within the park.
• Function as the Manager on Duty (MOD) (see below) and confidently function in and train
all Team Member roles and responsibilities.
• Deliver on the park’s monthly departmental goals by anticipating and recognizing
business opportunities and leading the team to meet them.
• Adopt and maintain Sky Zone standards, policies and procedures at all times including but
not limited to Waiver (Participant Agreement) Policy, ASTM standards, court rules, Guest
service, food safety, etc.
• Provide the team with a welcoming and mutually supportive work environment
• Resolve Guest service issues with discretion and professionalism
• Ensure Team Members are knowledgeable about all products, programs and promotions
offered
• Ensure inventory is managed appropriately, and maintain vendor relationships

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Proven ability to motivate a team and drive culture to create results
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a Fun, friendly environment
• Previous management experience with new-to-the-workforce, part-time staff
• Previous experience in a Guest-facing environment
• Experience with team scheduling
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Previous cash handling experience
• Familiarity with website editing and social media skills are a plus

Cashier

The Cashier will provide information and complete sales transactions while maintaining the highest level of Guest service.

Qualifications
• Ability to provide excellent Guest service in person and over the phone
• Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle money
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
 
Responsibilities

• Explain Sky Zone court policies
• Enforce Waiver (Participant Agreement) policies
• Complete sales transactions and handle cash
• Handle concessions orders
• Stock concessions inventory
• Enter data into computer system
• Stock front desk supplies

Court Monitor

The Court Monitor will work directly with Guests, providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while enforcing Sky Zone safety standards.

Qualifications
• Ability to speak in front of groups
• Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
• Ability to enforce rules
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
 
Responsibilities
• Pay attention to the court at all times and be interactive with the participants.
• Advocate Guest satisfaction/WoW!
• Advocate risk management (Guest Rules communication)
• Maintain positive relations and rapport with patrons, but be firm and command respect
• Have full knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in implementing them
• Assist with court inspections
• Perform general maintenance/custodial duties as requested
• Attend regularly scheduled Team Members meetings and in-service meetings and training sessions
• Other duties as assigned

Party Host

The Party Host will help create a Fun and engaging experience for Guests through courteous, friendly, and professional assistance. Emphasis on in-room party activities.

Qualifications
• Ability to provide excellent Guest service
• Must be able to interact and communicate well with children, parents, and Team Members
• Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
• Ability to enforce rules
• Ability to handle large groups of children
• Ability to engage Guests in conversation
 
Responsibilities
• Maintain positive relations and rapport with Guests
• Engage Guests (parents and children) in conversation
• Create a Fun environment
• Advocate Guest satisfaction/WoW!
• Advocate risk management (Guest Rules communication)
• Maintain party room to standard
• Greet the party and escort them from the court to the party room
• Serve refreshments
• Create a party gift list of presents when necessary
• Custodial duties as requested
• Other duties as assigned
