How long have you been a teacher? 25 Years
How long have you been at your current school and what grade do you teach? 7 years and I teach 11th and 12th grade.
What led you into teaching and what continues to motivate you? I was drawn to teaching because I enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others learn and grow. My motivation comes from the impact I can have on students’ lives and the fulfillment I get from seeing them succeed and achieve their goals.
What was your reaction to winning the award? Surprise and gratitude!!
What was the reaction of your class? They all want a field trip to Sky Zone!
Have you been to Sky Zone before? If so, what was your experience like? I have not been to Sky Zone before, but now I have a new place to bring my son.
What do you find most rewarding about being a teacher? Witnessing the growth and development of my students, both academically and personally. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see them grasp new concepts, overcome challenges, and become more confident.
Outside of the classroom, what are some of your interests? I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.
