Sky Zone Carlsbad has created this Health and Safety Plan that follows the guidelines provided by the Department of Public Health regarding required best practices for Summer Camps provided on May 26th, 2020. This plan will outline these new best practices and the operational changes that will be enforced for Sky Zone Carlsbad's Summer Camps for 2020. Our goal is to provide parents, guardians, campers, and staff with all necessary information in order to offer the safest environment possible this summer.
  • Your precautionary steps: Camper's parent or guardian is required to screen children for any of the symptoms listed below before coming to camp each day:
    • Fevers, chills, or repeated shaking/shivering
    • Cough
    • Sore throat
    • Shortness of breath
    • Difficulty breathing

    Our precautionary steps:

    3. Once children pass the screening, campers will be provided with hand sanitizer before entering the building
    4. Campers will be placed into a stable group of 12 or less during the entire 3-week session. Siblings will be placed in the same group.
    5. Parents can request unrelated peers to be placed in the same group as your child(ren). Sky Zone will attempt to accommodate these requests, however we can not promise these groupings until the day before the first day of the camp session
    6. Hand washing breaks have been placed within the daily schedule. Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the park.
    7. Restroom breaks have been scheduled in our daily activities by group in order to avoid intermingling of groups within the bathroom. Staff members will ensure that campers who have to use the restroom outside of the break will do so in the safest manner possible
    8. Camper's Parents/Guardians will be required to sign our waiver for campers prior to entering camp.
    9. Campers will be encouraged to keep to social distancing guidelines at all times.
    10. Sky Zone Staff will inform campers to avoid hugging, high-fiving, and to avoid other direct physical contact with others.

    • Sky Zone will have up to 12 campers in up to 3 stable groups per week session.
    • Each stable group will be assigned 2 staff members that will not change within the week session.
    • Stable groups will follow staggered schedules in order to minimize interaction between groups.
    • Each stable group is required to be provided with 1,750 square feet or more with a 10 x 12 foot buffer between each group. Sky Zone has mapped the necessary square footage out to follow this guideline.
    • Each stable group will be provided with separate areas where they can place their belongings, eat lunch / snack, and other personal items.

Additionally, we will provide daily lunch for each of our Full-Day campers during each the week from our catering partner O's American Kitchen.

Similarly to snack, if your child does not like or cannot eat food from this menu, we request that they bring their own lunch from home on that day. We will have Chicken Nuggets in the event a lunch is forgotten, but we cannot be responsible for catering to each child’s food preferences.
  • Each day the campers will actively and participate in physical play on the trampolines. As a result, SkySocks are required at all times for campers.

SkyZone will provide 1 pair of socks per camper per day if they are without SkySocks. Those SkySocks are the camper's to keep and may be used for future SkyCamp or regular admission visits.
