Teacher of the Month
How long have you been a teacher? I started teaching in fall of 2016! I took a couple years off to raise my beautiful children! So overall it has been 6 years of teaching!
How long have you been at your current school and what grade do you teach? This is my first year at CFE!!! I teach 3rd grade!
What led you into teaching and what continues to motivate you? I absolutely love being around children!! They are always full of happiness and joy! When a child learns a new standard or skill and has that Aha! Moment is what keeps me motivated!
What was your reaction to winning the award? Honestly I was just really excited for my students to win jump time at sky zone and ice cream!!! They work so hard throughout the year and really deserve this!
What was the reaction of your class? They were ecstatic and so loving! As always!
Have you been to Sky Zone before? If so, what was your experience like? Yes!!! We love sky zone!!
What do you find most rewarding about being a teacher? I love how each day is completely different than the last! I don’t even feel like it is “work” because the love and passion that is coexisting in the classroom!
Outside of the classroom, what are some of your interests? I enjoy hanging out with my husband Ryan, and our two children! We love traveling together and also are very involved with sports!
