Axe Throwing In South Plainfield, NJ

Come Throw Axes at Sky Zone South Plainfield
Our Axeperts will teach you how to throw while having the best time ever!

Place both hands on the axe, bring the axe back over your head, and aim for the bullseye! Bring friends or family and come show off your inner lumberjack.

Axe throwing is similar to darts, only with bigger tools and targets. Competitors throw axes at a 4-foot wooden target, attempting to hit the bulls eye as near as possible. Once you’ve hit your groove, our Axeperts can coach you on several games to play.

Participants must be 14 or older. Shoes required. For more information, see the the details below or give us a call. Reserve your lanes now.

With this new axe-citing attraction at Sky Zone South Plainfield, you’ve got yourself the ideal venue for a fun-filled and memorable adult party – birthdays, bachelor parties and family reunions! We are the only trampoline park in New Jersey with Axe Throwing.

Axe Throwing

  • Yes! With Axe Throwing you will be throwing real axes at a target. It is somewhat similar to darts on a bigger scale and with axes. It is a ton of fun.

  • That’s not a question, but we’ll answer anyway. Everyone throwing axes receives instruction and supervision from one of our Axeperts. Just like when you participate in our other attractions, safety is incredibly important to us.

  • Axepert is a punny combination of Axe and Expert. We use the fun term to refer to our team members who have received Axe Throwing Training. They are here to make sure you have fun and stay safe. Did you know that the combination of two words to make a new word is called a portmanteau?

  • Yes. Participants must be at least 14 years old. 14 and 15-year-olds must be accompanied by a participating parent/guardian. There are no parental restrictions on those 16 and older.

  • Participants come in and receive safety instruction and advice on how to throw axes. Then, everyone will get a chance to practice throwing axes a few times. Then, we play axe games. The more time you have the more games we can play. The Axeperts will be there the whole time and can advise you on how to improve your throw.

  • Individual use on a shared lane-- You can buy a ticket to throw for an hour or two and participate with others.
Reserve lanes for your private use--You can reserve Axe Throwing lanes like reserving a lane in a bowling alley. Each lane can accommodate up to 4 guests with time to play games during 1 hour time slots. With a 2-hour time block, each lane can handle 5 people. We recommend 2 hours for the full experience. You do not need to share your lane with guests you don’t know.
Parties-- You can have an Axe Throwing Party or an Axe & Jump Party. Axe Throwing can be added to any of our party packages. For parties, we can accommodate more guests per lane by limiting play to practice throws. With this everyone still gets the safety instructions and a chance to throw an axe a few times and then others will get a turn.
Special Events—Keep an eye out for special events where everyone gets a chance to throw axes a few times.

  • The more the merrier! You just need to reserve more lanes. For groups larger than 20 guests, please call us.

  • Our facility can accommodate groups of over 450 guests. Call us and we can help you plan the best party ever!

  • Axe Throwing is a wonderful addition to any party.  It’s your party. We’ll help you figure out how to provide the best experience for your guests.  We can add in axe throwing lanes for guests whether or not they are jumping.  You can choose to play game or accommodate more guests with practice throws.
Axe Throwing for Non-Jumpers— This is the option if you want to keep the parents, friends, and family members who do not want to jump to be engaged during the party. In this option, you can reserve lanes for them. We recommend that you add this during the jump time and/or during the time in the party room.
Axe Throwing for Jumpers-- If you want to have your guests get the full axe throwing experience, we recommend adding 1 lane per 4 guests before your jump time for game play.   If you want to allow them an opportunity to try it, you can reserve a lane during your jump time for practice throws.

  • All participants must wear closed-toe shoes. We recommend clothing that allows you to move freely.

  • You can reserve a lane for $160 for 2 hours or $100 for 1 hour. The lane reservation fee includes all fees for up to 5 guests participating per lane. When paying in person, we can split the fee to multiple payment methods if desired; If you have 4 people sharing a lane, they could each pay their share with their preferred payment method.

  • No. Our Axe Throwing reservation fees include all fees to participate. You do not pay additional fees for guests to participate. All reservations are subject to a maximum number of participants and the capacity of the Axe Throwing arena.

  • Yes. The Axe Throwing Arena is designed to allow guests to see clearly from the outside. Only participants are allowed inside the arena.
