ABOUT THE ASSISTANT OPS MGR ROLE:
 Requires a strong focus on guest service, sales, cleanliness and safety.
 Coaching and leading the team in all positions to ensure every guest has a WoW experience.
 Self-motivated leader with quick decision making skills.
 Creative and ready to think outside of the box to create new experiences for guests.
 Must have basic computer knowledge and cash handling procedures.
 Weekends required.
 Experience in management is a plus.

Event Host

Job Summary
The Event Host works directly with kids and adults to provide courteous, friendly, and professional assistance with their events. The Event Host will work closely with the Event Coordinators to make sure all aspects of each individual party are met and accommodated. They will pay particular attention to guest needs and wants. The Event Host will have basic knowledge of the Sky Zone POS system.

Qualifications
  • Ability to provide excellent Guest service in person and over the phone
  • Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle money
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
  • Ability to "stay busy" and to be self motivated while there are no guests to check in


Responsibilities
• Host Sky Zone events and birthday parties
• Serve pizza, cake and drinks to party members
• Meet all needs and wants of the parents of the events
• Assist with check-in procedures
• Present a professional appearance at all times
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service and friendliness
• Cashier when needed
• Set up and clean-up of party rooms
• Other duties as assigned 

Court Monitor

Court Monitor

The court monitor will work directly with Guests, providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while enforcing Sky Zone safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
  • Ability to enforce rules
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems

Responsibilities
  • Pay attention to the court at all times and be interactive with the participants
  • Advocate Guest satisfaction/WOW
  • Advocate risk management (Guest Rules Communication)
  • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with patrons, but be firm and command respect
  • Have full knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in implementing them
  • Assist with court inspections
  • Perform general maintenance/custodial duties as requested
  • Attend regularly scheduled Team Member meetings and in-service meetings and training sessions
  • Other duties as assigned

Cashier

Cashier

The Cashier will provide information and complete sales transactions while maintaining the highest level of Guest service.

Event Assistant Manager

Event Assistant Manager

Event Assistant Manager will book, confirm, and check-in events. Event Assistant Managers will also be responsible for scheduling party hosts. The emphasis for the Event Assistant Manager is on pre-event activities, but is the point person in charge and responsible for the smooth operation of events as they take place.

On off event days/times, the Event Assistant Manager will take/make calls, book events or reach out to local organizations and provide effective guest service to all Sky Zone call guests by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and procedures. In addition, the Event Assistant Manager will need to apply basic sales techniques to suggest services that best meet the needs of out guests. This role supports the network through the embodiment of Sky Zone's Core Values, promoting Awesome, Healthy, Fun through WOW experiences. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively handling guest inquiries while keeping guest satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all functions of event team members
  • Answer phone inquiries about events
  • Book all types of reservations in system
  • Ensure pre-arrival booking procedures are adhered to
  • Assist with event sales
  • Handle event paperwork
  • Advocate Guest satisfaction/WOW
  • Advocate risk management (Guest Rules Communication)
  • Assist with management of inventory of event supplies
  • Greet and check-in event participants
  • Make sure party rooms and Team members are running on schedule
  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Handle guest inquires both telephonically and by email
  • Seize opportunities to up-sell services
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets

Qualifications
  • Positive Attitude
  • Previous experience in guest support role
  • Sales experience in a retail or service position
  • Display exceptional guest service for our guests
  • Must have general computer knowledge
  • Must be able to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Good oral and written communication skills (Spanish speaking is a plus)
  • Must be able to work weekends
